Designed in house over the course of many years, the ARID A3M2 top rails are finally here. Finally. FINALLY.
This rail is designed to fit the Steyr A3M2 AUG - with the flat top receiver. If you're looking for A3M1 rails there is another page with rails just for you!
ARID A3M2 LONG Rail - Designed for 16" or longer barrels.
- Machined from 7076-T6 Aluminum to provide necessary strength and rigidity to handle abuse while maintaining zero and preventing optic shift
- Utilizes factory mounting points
- Maintains original height over bore
- Stock relief cut
- Stock Steyr rail weight - 3.6 oz, ARID A3M2 Long Rail - 7.9 oz
- Extended rail - who doesn't want more rail-estate?
- 39 picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) slots in total
- Designed to clear most muzzle device and suppressor configurations. Again in case the bright yellow type up there wasn't obvious enough, with a 16" or longer barrel.
- You want recessed pockets to allow folding sights with adjustable apertures? Well this rail has em!
- Will be directly compatible with the forthcoming ARID hand guard, as well as other part suites we currently have in development

We're not saying this rail will make you a better shooter, help you lose weight, be sexier, or smarter. . . but, but, but, but, we aren't saying it won't.
What we are certainly saying is; Thanks for the support over the years, without y'all we couldn't be here and we are all very happy to finally have this available.

Installation notes: We suggest A DROP of medium strength loctite on the threads of the M6 bolts, tighten until just snug in the sequence of middle, front, rear. Then torque to 40 INCH/lbs middle, front, rear. If a torque wrench is unavailable, snug and then 1/4 turn. Once more with feeling that is 40 INCH/lbs.
DO NOT, OVERTIGHTEN the top rail fasteners as this can and will cause damage to the top rail, and may cause damage to your receiver. Any and all responsibility is on the end user to properly install this component and these fasteners. ARID USA LLC. Shall not, in any form, be held accountable for the improper installation or removal of either top rail and its subsequent fasteners. It is the end user responsibility to properly assess their abilities and understanding of the platform and its hardware, to ensure there is adequate understanding and safety measures used when altering the platform from its base configuration.
